The first time I made this desert I thought I’d died and gone to heaven. To see it emerge from the oven is one thing, with its impressive corona (if done right!) and custardy goodness, to taste this magnificent desert is nothing short of a transcending experience. And if you’re not a huge desert fan but have empirical experience with this desert then you know first hand, what I mean. There is nothing like a warm Souffle, in my opinion, fresh from the oven, with a drizzle of warmed Créme Anglaise.
